Youth and Family Ministries

We offer a time of learning for the children during the worship service.  After the children’s sermon, Pastor Matt dismisses the children to go downstairs for their own Children’s Chapel, where they will continue learning about the Bible lesson for the day through crafts, readings, and prayer.  The children will rejoin the congregation just before Holy Communion.

There is also a nursery available with an attendant for children 6 and under.

Grace offers Vacation Bible School every summer.  This year the theme is “Shipwrecked: Rescued By Jesus” and the program will run from 9:00am-12:00pm during the week of July 23-27.  Children ages 3 (potty-trained) & up are welcome to attend.  Vacation Bible School is free of charge and all children and their families who participate are welcome to attend our special VBS-themed worship on Sunday July 29th at 10:00am.

There is a Bible Study group that meets on Thursdays at 2pm in the library.  They are currently on break until September 6th.

Sheilah M. is planning a once a month evening Bible Study to be held at her house. This group will meet once a month on a the second Tuesday of the month at 7pm. Sheilah’s house is located at 1018 W. 1st. Street in Alabaster. If you are interested and/or have questions for Sheilah, you can either talk to her at worship on Sundays or call her at 989-362-5926.
